Techspawn Solutions is hiring for the position of **Odoo Lead Developer** to join our enthusiastic and highly motivated team. We are looking for experienced professionals with 4 to 8 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in various development projects for our Odoo-based products and services.
• Oversee development-related aspects of technical operations and ensure overall project quality.
• Identify and implement improvements in the development process.
• Solve complex performance issues, architectural challenges, and improve scalability.
• Develop and deploy Odoo applications that contribute to real-world business efficiencies.

Roles & Activities

• Design and develop Odoo apps (including new modules and customizations).
• Analyze scope documents and translate them into technical requirements.
• Create low-level requirement documents in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Follow coding best practices to ensure readability and maintainability.
• Leverage existing Odoo features to meet project objectives.
• Develop custom Odoo modules to cater to specific business needs.
• Maintain code versioning using Git and ensure clean code check-ins.
• Implement secure coding practices during software development.

Required Skill Sets

• Strong knowledge of Python and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Complete understanding of Odoo workflow and core modules.
• Proven experience developing custom modules in Odoo.
• Techno-functional expertise in Odoo modules such as Sales, Purchase, CRM, Accounts, Inventory, Projects, Timesheet, HR, etc.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo versions including the latest releases.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills within Odoo framework.
• Experience with data migrations between Odoo versions.
• Frontend development in Odoo using XML, JavaScript, Widgets, Wizards, QWeb reports, etc.
• Good command of PostgreSQL and SQL query writing.
• Familiarity with Odoo’s import tools and custom data import using Python.
• Proficiency in using version control systems like Git.
• Comfortable working on Linux environments.
