Odoo Developer

We are hiring for Odoo Developers to join our enthusiastic and highly motivated team. This position is suitable for candidates with 1–5 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field, with strong expertise in Python, Odoo development, and AI-assisted workflows.

Job Responsibilities

Your major job responsibilities as an Odoo Developer would be:

1. Lead and participate in development projects for products and services, and contribute to all development-related aspects of technical operations.

2. Take initiatives for required improvements in the software development process to maintain overall quality.

3. Solve complex performance issues, critical problems, and architectural challenges.

4. Design, develop, and maintain Odoo applications, including new module development and customization.

5. Analyse scope documents and create low-level requirement documents in discussion with different teams.

6. Follow best practices in software development to ensure readability, maintainability, and security of the code.

7. Reuse existing Odoo features wherever possible to achieve scope objectives efficiently.

8. Create custom modules in Odoo to meet specific domain requirements.

9. Follow source code checking processes and maintain code in Git version control.

10. Use AI tools and modern development workflows to improve productivity, debugging, documentation, and code quality.

Roles & Activities

1. Work on Odoo module development, customization, and feature enhancements.

2. Support integration and implementation tasks across products and services.

3. Collaborate with teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

4. Help improve development standards and delivery efficiency using AI-assisted practices.

5. Contribute to secure and scalable application design.

Required Skills Sets

• Strong knowledge of Python and programming concepts.

• Complete understanding of Odoo basic flow.

• Knowledge of data models available in Odoo core.

• Proven expertise in developing custom modules in Odoo.

• Odoo techno-functional knowledge.

• Experience in developing latest versions of Odoo and excellent debugging skills in Odoo.

• Experience in migrating from earlier Odoo versions to newer versions.

• Core knowledge of Odoo features such as Sales, Purchase, CRM, Accounts, Inventory, Projects, Timesheet, and HR.

• Knowledge of Odoo frontend technologies, including XML and JavaScript.

• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL with ability to write SQL queries.

• View customization experience, including widgets, wizards, JavaScript, and view XML.

• Q-Web reports creation.

• Data import using Odoo import as well as custom import using Python.

• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.

• Knowledge of Linux-flavored operating systems.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and LLM-based workflows is a plus.
