How to Sync WooCommerce Orders to Square Using Syncy

Keeping your WooCommerce orders and transactions synced with Square is essential for accurate sales tracking and inventory management across your online and physical stores. Syncy makes it easy to ensure that all of your sales data is consistent and up-to-date. Below is a step-by-step guide to syncing your orders and transactions to Square from the WooCommerce All Orders page. 

Step 1: Access the All Orders Page 

  • Log in to Your WordPress Dashboard: Begin by logging into your WordPress admin area. 
  • Navigate to WooCommerce Orders: From the main menu, go to WooCommerce > Orders to access the list of all orders placed through your store. 
  • View All Orders: The All Orders page displays a comprehensive list of every transaction that has taken place, including order details such as status, date, total amount, and customer information. 

Step 2: Locate the Order to Sync 

  • Identify the Orders to Sync: Scroll through the All Orders page to find the specific order or orders that you wish to sync with your Square POS. 
  • Check the Sync Status: Orders that have not been synced with Square will have an indication of “Pending” letting you know that these need to be updated. 

Step 3: Sync Orders to Square 

  • Click the Sync Button: On the right-hand side of each order listed on the All Orders page, you will see a Sync button. To sync a specific order, simply click this button. 
  • Automatic Data Sync: Clicking Sync will trigger Syncy to send the order details—including product information, quantities, total value, and customer data—to your Square account. 
  • Real-Time Update: Once the Sync button is clicked, the order will be processed and updated in your Square POS in real time. This ensures that your inventory and sales data are kept consistent across both platforms. 

Step 4: Verify Sync Completion 

  • Check the Sync Status: After clicking the Sync button, the status of the order will change to reflect that it has been successfully synced. This may be indicated by a label  “Synced”.” 
  • Review Order in Square: For additional verification, log in to your Square Dashboard and navigate to the Orders or Transactions tab to ensure that the synced order appears correctly.
