Sign in to your Dropbox account.
Go to the Home Page and click on “Create an App.
Choose the options you need from that page.
Enter a unique name for your app.
Click the “Create App” button.
After creating the app, you need to generate a token. To do this, click on the “Generate” button next to the “Generate Access Token” option.
When you press the “Generate” button, you’ll make a token. Copy that token and put it into the “Access Key” field in module. Remember, this token only work for 4 hours. After every 4 hours, you’ll need to make a new token.
Configuration in Odoo:
First, go to Settings. Then, turn on developer mode. After that, go to Technical. From the dropdown menu, choose the option that says Configure Dropbox.
Enter all the details:
- Token: Put in your Dropbox token.
- Source: Choose where to save the backup file.
- Host: Write down the host name.
- Port: Type the port number.
- Database: Enter the name of the database.
- Backup Type: Pick how you want the backup to be saved.
