How to activate app embed and app block

Activate the App Embed

1. Go to “Online Store” → “Themes” in your Shopify Admin.
2. Find the theme you want to update, then click Customize to open the Theme Editor.
3. In the Theme Editor, look for a tab or button labeled App Embeds (usually on the left sidebar, beneath the “Theme settings” section).
4. Locate the App Embed in settings of app and toggle it to “On.”
5. Click Save in the top-right corner to apply your changes.

When you click on activate app embed it will automatically adds the app block to your current theme especially on the product page without needing any manual selection.

Tip: Once the App Embed is activated, the app’s code is automatically injected into your theme, so you typically won’t need to modify any template code manually.

Add the App Block (Optional, if the app provides one)

1. Still in the Theme Editor, navigate to the section or template where you want the app’s content to appear (for example, the Product Page template).
2. On the left sidebar, find the relevant section—e.g., Product Information, Main Product Section, or a similar section name.
3. Click Add block (or “Add content” depending on your theme), then locate the App Block for your app.
4. Drag and drop the newly added app block to the desired position within that section.
5. Customize any block settings—this might include styling, text, or additional options specific to your app.
6. Click Save again to confirm the placement and settings.

Tip: Some apps may only offer an App Embed (no dedicated App Block), while others provide both. If you don’t see the option for an App Block, it may not be available for your particular app.
