After purchasing the plugin, download the zip folder of Rewards/Loyalty Points for POS
Save the Rewards/Loyalty Points for POS & Website module zip folder on your device.
Module Installation in Odoo
In Odoo activate the developer mode.
Go to apps and Update apps list
Search “sales_reward” and install it.
The module will be activated then.
1.Reward Setup and Configurations
Go to ->Reward Settings ->Enter all the values in the fields for set the client points, Earn points, Product Category as per requirement. Refer Below attached screenshots for reference-> Scroll Up and click on save. VIP point –It is one of the categories defined for customers, customers are segregated based on this category. Where this specific field provides price per redeem point i.e.. In this case we will get 5rs/redeem point. Validity of VIP point:– This field gives validity period i.e., Number of days the points are valid for VIP category customers. In this case validity of points to redeem is 30 days which means that after 30 days they will be invalid or cannot be redeemed. Professional point:– It is one of the categories defined for customers, customers are segregated
based on this category. Where this specific field provides price per redeem point i.e. In this case we will get 4rs/redeem point. Validity of Professional point:– This field gives validity period i.e., Number of days the points are valid for Professional category customers. In this case validity of points to redeem is 30 days which means that after 30 days they will be invalid or cannot be redeemed. Individual point:– It is one of the categories defined for customers, customers are segregated based on this category. Where this specific field provides price per redeem point i.e. In this case we will get 1rs/redeem point. Validity of individual point:– This field gives validity period i.e., Number of days the points are valid for Professional category customers. In this case validity of points to redeem is 30 days which means that after 30 days they will be invalid or cannot be redeemed. Minimum Amount:- Minimum amount of purchase required to avail, point redemptions. I.e., in this
case minimum purchase amount should be more than 500 Rs to avail point redemption. Maximum Amount:- Maximum amount of purchase required to avail, point redemptions. I.e., in this
case maximum purchase amount should not be more than 500 Rs to avail point redemption. Point Credit Condition:- It is field which describe conditions after which, point redemption will be
availed. There are two conditions I.e., on payment and on delivery. It basically means that when we
want to avail those points i.e.. on payment or on delivery. Product Category:- It is field where we select the product categories for which we want reward points accessible.
Steps to Use Rewards/Loyalty Points for POS & Website
Assigning customer type to customer — Go to ->Sales Module ->Order Menu ->Customer sub menu ->Click on a contact->Edit and select the customer type. Customer Type: -It is one of the categories defined for customers, customers are segregated based on this category. Here we can assign a category to customer.
Automatically calculates the redeem amount when points are added— Refresh -> Go to ->Sales Module ->Order Menu ->Customer sub menu ->Click on a contact->Edit & enter user points (based on user points entered, User Point amount will be updated). User Points:-This are loyalty points earned by a customer on various purchases made by him. User Points Amount:- This is equivalent money customer will get for the points they earned. Simple calculation is done i.e. user point * customer category i.e. Professional in this case and value assigned to it is 4Rs.so total User point Amount=User Point*Professional point which is nothing but 4*40=160Rs. Validity of Redeem:- It is tenure or number of days for which the given user points are valid. Loyalty Card Number:- It is loyalty Card assign to user with unique card number & barcode.
Print Sales Card: – Once Save is clicked-> print option gets visible-> On clicking print->print loyalty point option appears.
Once print loyalty point is clicked-> Image of Loyalty Card appears as shown in image below.
Set/Unset loyalty program for website:- Goto Website->Configuration Menu->Websites Submenu->Click on My Website->Edit->Select True or False value for access rewards. Note:- We need to on the developer mode to access the website submenu in configurations. Access rewards- It is a field which is set True in case we want to give access to reward points for a specific website or else set False if we don’t want to give access grants to a specific website. In simple words if set True it will turn on the loyalty program for that specific website or else if set False will be turn off the loyalty program for that website.
Redemption of points from sale order: – Goto Sales ->Click on Create Quotation ->Add customer & product ->Click on Redeem points->A pop-up window of Points to redeem will open Note:- Remember to add product before going for points redemption, and also check validity of redeem points date in customer selected, before going for point redemptions. Redeemable Points- Total numbers of points earned & available for a specific customer. Points to redeem – Here we need to enter the number of points which we want to redeem or encash from the available points.
A new pop-up window of Points to redeem will open->Enter valid points to redeem->Click on Get Points Points To Use:- Number of point we want to redeem and encash. This point will be encashed and that amount will be deducted from the total amount of invoice.
Respective value of Redeem points get subtracted from product price.
Redeem point from POS: – Goto Point of Sale->Click on resume
Click on customer and select customer ->Click on Set customer->
For selected customer, a product is selected or let say added from products
Once clicked on payment ->a new payment window opens-> Click on redeem Loyalty Redeem Loyalty:- Once this button is clicked selected points will be redeemed and encashed and deducted from total amount of purchase.
Once clicked redeem Loyalty ->a pop-up window of Redeem Loyalty Points appears->Enter valid redeem points available Note: -Select bank or cash options to see the redeemed amount
Redeem points count and subtracted value shown on the page. Then validate payment.
Redeem points from Website: -Goto Website -> Click on shop -> Select a product from list of products.
Click on add to cart
Enter valid Redeem points in Point to use/redeem.
Redeem points count and subtracted value shown on the page. Then confirm payment.
Redeem points Validations: – No. of Redeem points, its redemption limit should be same as stated in customer’s profile and Redeem points value should not exceed product price.
Valid numeric value for redeem points should be enter by user.
If numeric value for redeem points exceeds then available redeem points.
